Late night coding with Xamarin and WordPress projects
Late night coding and Monster energy drinks are going to be the death of me š
Big dreams require big sacrifice, and I got GOALS š„
This week Iāve been mostly working on finishing a mobile application using Xamarin, a cross-platform framework, as well as a business website that uses WordPress.
Iāve been pretty heavy on React Native for mobile dev lately, but Xamarin is still a beast to use, for me mostly due to the power of C# (less verbose than Java, strongly-typed, and object-oriented).
Iāve also been working on a business website using WordPress. The little actual development here is theme editing and CSS overrides. Most of the work is in using the WordPress admin panel.
Iāve learned a long time ago not to reinvent the wheel and to use the right tool for the job; donāt let ādeveloper prideā get in the way of that.
There are enough new problems to be solved with new code; donāt solve old ones.
My trick to working late: take power naps!
āļø Do you prefer coding/working at night, or during the day?
